Hello my sweet friends! I haven't forgotten you. Not one bit. This week has been a roller coaster ride and it isn't over. After taking my aunt off life support on Sunday, she has remained with us, breathing on her own and it is now Thursday. I don't know what the future holds, I can't even begin to see into God's or man's plan. But I do rest in the calm assurance that God is sovereign and nothing takes Him by surprise. Whether healing is to be had on earth, or to receive the "ultimate healing", I am learning to accept that. Don't get me wrong, it's not always easy, and I have not mastered it. But I do know the One in whom I have put my trust in, and I know that his plans for me are good.
On another note, perhaps nervous energy, but I've been up to something...would you like to see?
Tomorrow is Freezer Foods Friday, don't forget. Yes, I will be here for Freezer Foods Friday, so I hope you'll participate in the link-up tomorrow and let's all share and receive some good make-ahead tips, recipes or hints!

Hang in there my friend. The waiting is the hardest, but I love that you are trusting the Lord and taking comfort in Him.
ReplyDeleteIt is so hard to watch a loved one going through this part of life. And yes it is all in God's Hands. May you find comfort in knowing that.
ReplyDeleteYour little hearts are very sweet.
